Alanna Carroll Mitchell , DOB: 11/11/1950, of Pea Ridge, AR, passed away Tuesday, November 18th, 2025. She passed peacefully in her home with several loved ones holding onto her hands. She will be remembered for her huge heart, gifts of love, and cherished warm and inviting hugs. She always accepted people for who they were and felt compassionate about sharing her love too all she knew.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24th, 2025, from 3:00-5:00p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home, 1312 N. Curtis Ave, Pea Ridge, AR 72751. Graveside services are reserved for private family attendance.

In lieu of flowers: Donations can be given at Circle of Life (hospice care) www.circleoflifecare.org.   Please use the donate button and honor the care team on behalf of Alanna. They were compassionate and caring not only to my mother, but also to the family. Alanna also volunteered for them to assist other families in time of need. The donation would greatly honor her work and the care they eventually provided to her.

Alanna was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Richard Stevens and Mary Lue Mitchell (both preceded her in death). She is survived by a large family that she loved and was very proud of. The living family includes: 1 brother, 3 children, 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by twin sisters. Her family lineage is as follows:

Youngest son: Lon Mitchell Brown; Spouse: Christy Brown

Niece and Nephew: Kimberlin Mitchell and Jonathan Mitchell

Grandchildren: (From Lindsey Jr) Shebi, Meghan, Bradrick, Easton, Phillip, Annelise, and Jennessa. (From Cheron) Duncan, and Darden. (From Mitch) Joseph, Calesta, Jack, Zackary, and Steven.

Great-Grandchildren: (From Shelbi) Kinsler, Lindsey, and Nolan. (From Meghan) Benny and Lewis. (From Bradrick) Shepard and Elanor. (From Duncan) Zephyr and Octavia. (From Darden) Makailyn, Gabriel, Jackson, and Paxton. (From Calesta) Peyton, Ashton, Kinnick, Madison, and Violett. (From Jack) Asher.

There are many names absent on this list to include grandchildren's spouses and friends that were like family. Alanna would frequently say "If you have been to my house more than once, you ARE family". If your name is not seen, just know she loved you too.

Alanna graduated from Rogers High School and Northwest Arkansas Community College. She attended the University of Arkansas. She was nearing the completion of her bachelor's degree in history with the intent to teach at a junior high school level. An unfortunate severe illness prevented her from attending her last semester and obtaining her degree. I honor her drive, determination, and care for both the education and those whom would have received it.
