Albert Devin Roos went home to his Lord and Savior on June 8th, at the age of 77.  He was surrounded by loving family and friends in his home at the time of his passing.

"Al" as he was known by most, was born September 1st, 1946 in Glenwood, Minnesota to Albert Roos and Eunice Pauline Barnett Roos, both of which have preceded him in death.

There were many things Al accomplished in his life, a member of ROTC during his college days, he earned an Engineering Degree from Tulsa University, worked as a project manager and estimator and was a volunteer fireman for NEBCO for many years.  Al used that training and expertise while helping many friends and neighbors work on projects and was always ready to lend a helping hand when needed.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter, wood worker and loved a good Oklahoma Sooners game, especially when they won!

There were two things Al loved with a passion.  He loved the, the Lord with all his heart and followed His teachings throughout his life.  He also loved and adored Paulette, his wife of 45 years. Together they attended the New Life Fellowship Church in Pea Ridge.

Al is survived by his wife, Paulette, his sister, Dorene Ray Nemecek of Stillwater, OK and of course, many, many friends.

A memorial service is set for Friday, June 28th at 10:00 AM. The service will be held in Garfield at the First Baptist Church, located at 17784 Marshall Street. Pastor Gary Ryals and Rev. Rusty Jones will officiate.
