Barbara Anne Stringfellow Gibby, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 23, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family. She was 79 years old.

Barbara was born on January 25, 1946, in Provo, Utah, to Marvin Darrell Stringfellow and Leona Maxine Parker. She grew up with a love for family, faith, and learning.

On August 27, 1965, Barbara married, Raymond Wayne Gibby, in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their marriage was a beautiful example of devotion and eternal love, lasting 60 years. Together they raised a large and loving family, which became Barbara's greatest joy and accomplishment.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Ray Gibby; their six children: Debbie (Clark) Hadden; Teresa (Dave) Hogan; Darrell (Camarey) Gibby; Jenny (Jamie) Grace; Raymond (Aimee) Gibby; LeeAnne (Brad) Heathman; She was a proud grandmother of 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with three on the way, each of whom she treasured dearly.

She loved her two brothers: M. Wayne (Kathy) Stringfellow; David (Denise) Stringfellow; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Barbara's life was defined by her faith, her service, and her devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, her wisdom, her gentle humor, her cookies, and the love she freely gave to all who knew her.
