Betty Ann Harmon, 85, of Gentry died January 11 at her home.
She was born November 12, 1932 in Savoy, Texas to Leon Calvin Hodges and Katy Bell McFadden Hodges. She married Dr. Charles "Gene" Harmon December 31, 1967 and moved to Highfill, Arkansas in 1990 to retire and raise commercial poultry. She loved to read, barrel race, was a wonderful cook, artist, and an expert marksman. She was always a good Samaritan for those in need and had a tremendous sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Charles "Gene" Harmon; two brothers, Jack and Billy Hodges.
Survivors are three daughters, Marianne Davis of Gentry, Sharon Kay Davis of Charlottesville, Virginia and Maxine Gayle West of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Laura O'Neal (Jim) of Pea Ridge, Katy Cleveland of Charlottsville, Va. and Harley Zule of Tahlequah, Ok. and two great-grandchildren, Holden O'Neal and Eugene Zule.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
