Betty Lou Walker Dorris Herrmann, 81, of Granby, Mo. died September 6 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

She was born November 22, 1934 in Bentonville to Clyde Anderson Walker and Alma Berta Blow Walker. She lived in the area all of her life. She worked for 17 years at Beaver's Truck Stop in Jane, Mo. as a cook, Bear Brank Hosiery in Bentonville, Wal-Mart Warehouse #8 for 12 years, and Phillips Food Center in Bentonville. She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, cooking and raising kids. She was a Pentecostal and is preceded in death by her parents, her son Billy Dorris Jr.; two brothers Lee Walker and John Walker.

Survivors are a daughter Martha Blevins (J.D.) of Granby, Mo; a sister Annie Fletcher (Neil) of Pea Ridge; a sister-in-law Joyce Walker of Savenburg, Kansas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service is set for 1:00 Thursday, Sept. 8, at Dug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista. No visitation.
