Betty Jo Lanham, lovingly known as Jo, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Bentonville, Arkansas, just three days shy of her 89th birthday. Born on August 5, 1936, in Rogers, Arkansas, she lived a life marked by unwavering faith, deep devotion to family, and a heart full of kindness.

Jo was the embodiment of selflessness and hospitality. She found joy in feeding others and made it her mission to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones. Her home was always open, a place where warmth radiated from the kitchen and love filled every room. Whether preparing a meal or offering a listening ear, Jo gave freely of herself to those around her.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Jo's Christ like spirit shone through in her daily actions. Even when she could no longer attend services in person, she remained connected through digital worship, continuing to draw strength from her beliefs and community.

Jo was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over sixty years, Dean Lanham; her parents, Clifford Homer Wilkerson and Avis Winton Reed; a brother, Troy Wilkerson and a great grandson, Bryce Alexander Hahn. Together they built a life centered on love and family. She is survived by her devoted son Allan Dean Lanham and his wife Robin Lanham; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dear sisters Bea Young and Avis DiBou.

Jo's legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured with love and grace. Her memory will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration for her life will be held at Faith Christian Fellowship, 220 South 4th Street Rogers, Arkansas at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2025.
