Betty Lou Wilson, 92, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas died December 13, 2023 at Springdale Health and Rehab.

She was born September 27, 1931 in Elgin, Illinois to Cecil E. Edgington and Sarah H. Scott Edgington. She married Arthur Wilson December 6, 1951 and later graduated nursing school at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois and was an OBGYN throughout her career. Betty enjoyed camping, sewing, knitting, auctions and was involved with the Shriner Clowns. She loved planting flowers, gardening and attended First Baptist Church in Aurora, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Charles, Cecil and Bobby Edgington.

Survivors are her husband of seventy-two years, Arthur Wilson; three daughters, Wendy Wilson of Big Rock, Illinois, Cheryl Elliot of Big Bear, California, Jorja Schlapp of Pea Ridge; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, Wounded Warriors or your local Human Society.
