Billy Lee Weaver, Sr. 88, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away peacefully at his home on May 20th 2024.  Billy (Bill) was born December 29, 1935 in Short, Oklahoma to Lee Monroe Weaver and Lucy Jane Alverson.  He had three brothers: Virgil Weaver, Vernon Weaver and Jessie Weaver; and three sisters, Verbie Messic, Minnie Newman and Jewel Partain.  He was married to, and cherished, his loving wife Clara Adeline Weaver ("Chiti") for 69 years.  Together, they had four children:  Billy Weaver, Jr., Kathleen (Kathy) Wilkerson, Timothy Weaver and James Weaver.  Bill was a devout follower of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  He was an ordained pastor for several decades who preached the Gospel and shared Christ's love everywhere he went.  Bill was the epitome of quiet strength and lived a simple and honorable life.  He was known to all for his kind, gentle nature and his soft-spoken manner; and he was a stylish man who could usually be found sporting a pair of Levi's jeans with a denim jacket, polished cowboy boots and the occasional beard or moustache.

In his youth, he enjoyed boating, fishing, hiking, riding horses, farming and spending time with his family.  He also loved buying, selling and trading cars.  Throughout his career, he managed multiple construction and asphalt paving companies; where he oversaw the construction of many homes and roads throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri.  He raised and nurtured animals and livestock his entire life; specifically he loved riding horses and taking care of his cats and dogs, of which he had many.  Bill and Chiti lived on a farm in east Rogers, where they grew large gardens and beautiful flowers.  He mowed and maintained the farm until he passed; and each year on his birthday, including his 88thbirthday, he would cut down a large tree and chop it into firewood.  Late in life, Bill selflessly cared for his wife and youngest son for several years as they dealt with illness; and his love and unwavering devotion to his family was apparent to all who witnessed it.  Bill lived a simple, wholesome life; rich with love, honor and kindness and he will be greatly missed.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Clara; mother Lucy; father Lee; two brothers: Virgil and Jesse; three sisters: Verbie, Minnie and Jewel; and two sons, Timothy and James.   He is survived by his son (Billy Jr.), daughter (Kathy), brother (Vernon), seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation service will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge.  Services will be held Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.  Both the visitation and service will be held at Sisco Funeral Home located at 1312 N Curtis Ave, Pea Ridge, AR 72751.
