Obituary

Bobby Wayne Freeman, 84, of Pea Ridge died September 28, 2020 in Bentonville.

He was born November 10, 1935 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Emmett D. Freeman and Edith May Russell Freeman.He was a US Navy veteran during Vietnam era receiving a Bronze Star, Navy Achievement Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon. He was a deep sea diver in the Navy, his team set records for depth and were instructed by Jacques Cousteua. He retired from the Navy after twenty years. He worked as a dealership mechanic for many years and had traveled all over the United States in his camper. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Polly Rusher, Jean Vaughn, Emma Sears, Deanna Phillips and a step-child.

He is survived by his niece, Deloris Tyree and husband Kenneth of Pea Ridge, and a great-niece Jessica Tucker of Joplin, Missouri; three step-children and many other nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time. Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Cemetery in Clarksville. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
