Cody Michael Baker, 34, of Pea Ridge Arkansas gained his well-earned wings on July 14th, 2024.

"There is only one happiness in this life: To love and be loved."

Cody was truly one of a kind. Loyal to a fault, compassionate and pure of heart, fun and out-going "The life of the party" and the favorite "Uncle Cody", respectful just the way his mother and grandparents raised him to be, hardworking and valuable to any workplace or endeavor, and ready to learn and insightful towards anything he set his mind to. So many more things could be listed to describe the kind of man he was. Just Rare.

To know him was to love him and when he loved you in return he loved Hard. Cody's family and friends were everything to him. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing with his son Liam, and camping every summer with his wife Devyn's family. You could find him on a Friday night sitting by a bonfire "At the Farm", his dog Obie standing guard at his feet and his wife Devyn sitting in his lap holding her hand. On fall Saturday mornings he'd be in the stands cheering for the "Black Hawks" at his son's football game. He would brag to all that would listen about his wife's tattooing and show off her artwork that canvased his body. Cody was naturally skilled with his hands and was quick and the first to help a family member or friend stranded with car troubles and excelled in carpentry.

Cody is proceeded in death by his mother Sarah Yielding Baker and his grandfather James Baker. He will forever be cherished and unreplaceable to his wife, His Soulmate, Devyn Moreno Baker and their son Liam Baker, who is the product of their beautiful and everlasting love. His siblings who will forever miss his smile, loving nature, and the person they went to in times of need and comfort include Stephen Baker, Cassie Fortner, Jordin, Vaughn, and Maeve Moreno. Cody took on his role as "Uncle Cody" very seriously, his nieces and nephews Zayla, Ellece, Charlie, Dale, Kaid, Ryker, and Lane loved him so much and will miss the laughter he brought to every family gathering. Other family members include his grandmother Catherine Baker, "Mom"/mother-in-law and father-in-law Beth and Tommy Mills, Uncle T J Baker, Jayden Bell, Dixie, Grayson, and Kammie Mills. Mitchell family members include, grandparents, Mitch and Linda, Uncle Aron, Aunt Rocki, cousins, Zaen, Paul, Marlon, Remington, Ty and Taylor. Cody was a loyal dear friend to so many and he cared and loved single one, to mention only a select few would be an insult to the kind of friendship he offered and to omit them completely just isn't an option so we include them as a whole.

The good life I lived while I was strong. My mind is at ease, my soul at rest.

I remember you all, I was truly blessed.

I miss you all dearly, but keep your chin up until we are all together again."

Services will be held at Honey Hill Christian Union Church in Searcy, Arkansas at noon July 27, 2024.
