Born on October 6, 1949, in Caliente, Nevada to Jerrel Meadors and Alene Jean Freeman Meadors. Deloris spent her early years living in many places, from Las Vegas to California.
Eventually settling in Northwest Arkansas where she graduated from Springdale High School. She met her high school sweetheart here, Kenneth Lee Tyree, and married on August 10, 1968. To her, each task was an opportunity to help, to solve and to serve and she devoted herself for 25 years of service. In her later years she happily volunteered at Country House Quilting shop.
Deloris's interests were as diverse as her talents. She was passionate about her family; her children and grandchildren were first on her daily priorities. Keeping them all together with family meals and hosting a "Girl's weekend" every three months. Deloris found joy in tracing family roots and in the quiet art of quilting.
