Donald Merl Cargile, 91, of Pineville, Missouri died January 14, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

He was born May 8, 1933 in Washburn, Missouri to Early Cleveland Cargile and Wilma Celnora Solley. He married Cornelia Elmina Reed April 4, 1979 and worked for the McDonald County Road Dept. for many years. He was an avid fisherman, loved to hunt and being outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cornelia Elmina Cargile; two daughters, Vicky Anderson and Judy Pergeson; brothers, Homer, Frank, Edward, Ronald (his twin) and Lewis Cargile; sisters, Lily Hayworth, Rosie White and Wanda Gilstrap.

Survivors are his children, Larry Bunch of Pineville, Missouri, Nita Cargile (Nat Junior) of Washburn, Missouri, Linda Ames of Gainesville, Texas, Donna Dillard, Donald Cargile and David Cargile of St. Louis, Mo., Chad Marshall of Independence, Missouri; brother, Lonnie Cargile of Neosho, Missouri; sister, Mary Pierce of Carthage, Missouri; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Graveside services are at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at King Cemetery in Seligman.
