Doris Charlene "Chris" Reding, 83, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville. Arkansas.    She was born July 11, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri to Charles Matthew Stout and Daisy Doris Vaughn Stout.  She was lovingly adopted and raised by her grandparents, Austin and Hattie Stout.

Chris was a bookkeeper and lived in the local area for over 45 years.  She was a musician and played the drums, enjoyed camping and had an incredible love for animals, especially dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her longtime companion, Jerry Trinkle and one great niece, Natasha Mitchell and as she would say, her many four legged children.

Survivors are two nieces, Ronda Mitchell and Rebecca Byford; one great niece, Christy Moss and great-nephews, Craig Moss, Lukas Jones and Dominic McFee.

Graveside service is set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield. No visitation.
