Doris Jean Morgan, 87, of Bentonville, Arkansas died March 1, 2024.

She was born December 18, 1936 in Dumont, Minnesota to Robert Schmitz and Grace Annis Gfeller Schmitz. She married Carl Sherman Morgan December 24, 1952 at Swan Lake, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, woodworking and served as president of "The Firemen's Flames" in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tonkawa. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Sherman Morgan; siblings, Kenny Schmitz, Mickey Schmitz, Ronnie Pahl and Sherman Pahl.

Survivors are two sons, Michael Morgan and wife Sheryl of Tucson, Arizona, Shanon Morgan and wife Daryla of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; siblings, Verdi Schmitz (Jeanette), of Chokio, Mn., Cordy Birchem of Wahpeton, North Dakota, Bobby Schmitz (Lois) of Beardsley, Minnesota, Jim Pahl of Graceland, Mn., June Jarrman of Arlington, Mn., Julie Cutter of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Tiffany Morgan (David), Ryan Morgan (Jessica), Shantel Morgan and Dalton Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Cash and Emma.

Visitation is set for 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at First Baptist Church, 212 N Main Street, Tonkawa, Oklahoma 74653. Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Tonkawa Ioof Cemetery. Flower deliveries need to be delivered to the church by 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning.
