Edith Marie Bennett, 90, of Pea Ridge died March 16, 2019 in Bentonville.

She was born September 7, 1928 in Durant, Mississippi to Walter Issac Carnathan and Zula Swinney Carnathan. She enjoyed gardening, reading,cooking and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Thomas A. Bennett in 2010; five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are two daughters, Karon Smith and husband Tim of Justin, Texas, Sandra Bennett of Bentonville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Service is set for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 20 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, March 19 at the funeral home.
