Edna Mae Robinette, 85, of Gateway, died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at her home.

She was born June 6, 1933 in Eagle Rock, Missouri to Roy Edgar Horton and May Louise (Gee) Horton. On March 27, 1954 Edna married Jim Robinette who preceded her in death on March 30, 2005. She was a homemaker and worked for Emerson Electric for a short time. Edna had a green thumb when it came to growing flowers indoors and out. She enjoyed taking road trips with her daughter Sherry. They took many trips to the Buffalo River, the tulip gardens in Hot Springs and all around the four-state area. Many summers were spent picking blue berries and working in the blueberry shed and she loved to babysit. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arliss Horton and Scottie Horton.

Survivors are one son, Danny Robinette of Gateway; three daughters, Linda Jennings (Tom) of Seligman, Kay Howerton (Ed) of Rogers, Sherry Robinette of Gateway; two grandchildren, Clay Howerton and Cody Howerton of Rogers and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside service is set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10 at Seligman City Cemetery. No visitation. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
