Elizabeth Faye Fletcher, 92, of Stockton, Missouri died August 2, 2026in Joplin.
She was born July 5, 1934 in Cassville, Missouri to William Albert Henbest and Nellie Evelyn Payne Henbest. She was raised in the area and later married Harold Edward Fletcher on August 10, 1952 in Berryville, Arkansas. She loved to work in the garden and enjoyed reading. Her kids and grandchildren were very important to her and loved spending time with them. Faye was a member of Stockton, Missouri Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward; sisters, Ethel Fletcher, Billie Brown, Mary Davis and Minnie Asbury.
Survivors are her children, Michael Fletcher, (Leah Anne) of Grove, Oklahoma, Charlotte Wall (Danny) of Monette, Missouri, Allen Fletcher (Susan) of Jerico Springs, Missouri; a sister, Sarah Gundel of Seligman; six grandchildren, Adam Fletcher, Erin Fletcher, Jason Wall, Amy Richardson (Bobby), Jessica Kramer (Taylor), Rebecca Fletcher and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 7, 2026 at Antioch Cemetery. No visitation.
