Eloise L. Huffman, 89, of Rogers, died Thursday, April 20 at her home.
She was born May 31, 1927 in Hunt, Arkansas to Lester Hanshew and Jennie Fultz Hanshew. She loved bluegrass music and played for the group "Brushcreek Bluegrass". She made porcelain dolls, loved flowers, her dog "Buddy", loved to cook for her family and friends and was a member of Avoca First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Alvin Grigg and Jack Huffman; a son, Larry Bell; two daughters, Rosalee Harden and Kathy Grigg; a sister, Betty Lester and a grandchild, Linda James.
Survivors are two sons, David Grigg of Rogers, Mark Grigg and wife Debbie of Rogers; two daughters, Alma Mattson of Rogers and Judy Thomas and husband, Dwight of Rogers; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Ozark, Arkansas and Charlene Summey of Rogers; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren and twenty-nine great-great grandchildren.
Service is set for 3pm Tuesday, April 25 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Tucks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, April 24 at the funeral home.
