Obituary

Ernest Marvin Pace, 84, of Garfield died Monday, November 16 at his home.

He was born April 20, 1936 in Hoxie, Arkansas to Ernest George Pace and Opal Pearl Hutsell Pace. He lived in Hoxie, Arkansas until the age of eighteen, then was a railroad switchman for the Wichita, Kansas Terminal. He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, hunting and fishing. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandpa. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sondra Pace; two infant siblings, J.G. Pace and Freddie Mae Pace; three brothers, Darrell, Harold and Tom Pace.

Survivors are three children, Tim Pace of Winchendon, Mass., Tammie Graham and husband Vern of Caldwell, Kansas, Jessica Pace of Seligman, Mo.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Graveside service is set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 21 at Pace Cemetery in Garfield. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 20 at the funeral home.
