Obituary

Frank Robinson, lovingly known as Dad and Grandpa, was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, soldier, and hardworking man whose love for his family was shown through his actions, his sacrifices, and the life he worked so hard to build.

He wasn’t a man of many words, but his actions spoke volumes. He showed his love through quiet sacrifice, steady hands, and the safe harbor he built for our family. These words capture the man Frank was and the lasting impact he leaves on the many people who loved him. Frank proudly served in the United States Army for 21 years, dedicating more than two decades of his life to serving his country. After his military service, he continued his strong work ethic in civilian life. He worked for Crane Valve Company in Rogers, Arkansas, as a machinist for 34 years and later worked for the Benton County Road Department for 11 years. Through his years of service and hard work, Frank demonstrated the determination, dependability, and dedication that defined his life.

When Frank wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved all types of hunting, especially coon hunting and mushroom hunting. These activities brought him enjoyment and gave him opportunities to make memories that his family will cherish. Frank was also always ready to tell a good war story, sharing pieces of his experiences and giving family and friends a glimpse into the life he had lived.

Frank’s greatest legacy is the family he leaves behind. He was a father to six children: Sherry Pankau (Joseph Powell) of Pineville, Missouri; Wesley Robinson of Seligman, Missouri; Ricky and Shayla Robinson of Garfield, Arkansas; Sherri Denning of Gentry, Arkansas; Kari and Troy Short of Powell, Missouri; and Darin and Debbie Denning of Gilbert, Arizona.

He was a proud grandfather to 21 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 27 great-grandchildren. His family was an important part of his life, and his legacy will continue through the generations who carry his name, his stories, and the memories they shared with him. Frank is also survived by his fiancée, Kathy Prophett, of Rogers, Arkansas, who shared an important part of his life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Robinson, whom he married in 1985 and who passed away in January 2011; his parents, Arline Faye Reddick and Alfie Lee Robinson; his brothers, Doyle Robinson of Missouri and Jim Robinson of Rogers, Arkansas; his sister, Geraldine Russell of Rogers, Arkansas; his granddaughter, Kaylee Pankau; and his great-granddaughter, September Lynn. He is survived by his brother, Joe Robinson, of Claremore, Oklahoma, and his sister, Kathy Burton, of Rogers, Arkansas, along with his six children, 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by him. Frank’s life was one of service, hard work, quiet love, and devotion to family. He may not always have expressed his feelings in words, but those who knew him understood the depth of his love through the things he did and the life he provided for those around him.

His stories will be remembered, his presence will be missed, and the love he gave his family will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Frank Robinson will forever be loved, remembered, and missed by his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the generations he leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on November 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial with military honors will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 6 at Liberty Cemetery in Garfield.
