Freda May Talburt 83, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, August 28 at Promenade Health & Rehab in Rogers.

She was born August 11, 1937 at Barry County, Missouri to Paul Griffith Dalton and Amy Catherine Richard. She was a life long resident of the area and enjoyed sewing. She worked at Gold-Kist Poultry in Quality Control for eighteen years. She attended First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Perry Wayne Talburt in 2007; an infant son Tommy Wayne Talburt; a daughter Patricia Bell; two sisters Lilly Lumus and Pauline Williams; seven brothers Lewis Dalton, Richard Dalton, Clifford Dalton, Kenneth Dalton, Doyle Dalton, Paul Dalton, and Willie Dalton.

Survivors are two sons Eddie Dale Talburt and Johnny Wayne Talburt and wife Brenda all of Pea Ridge; son-in-law Delano Bell of Huntsville; two brothers Edward Dalton and wife Marjorie of Washburn, Mo. and Arlous Dalton and wife Sue of Pea Ridge; one sister June Vanwinkle of Terre Haute, Indiana; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation is set for 1:00 Monday, August 31 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with a service following at 2:00 in the chapel. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
