Geneva Gilliland, 92, of Seligman, died Thursday, Dec. 1, at her home.

She was born June 11, 1924 at Seligman to John Thomas Mitchell and Letha Mae Fletcher Mitchell. She was employed at Daisy Mfg. for 29 years where she worked on the assembly line making BB guns. She also worked at Oak Ridge Nursing Center and was a part-time home care provider. She enjoyed singing and going to church singings, flea markets, trout fishing, she loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Exeter, Mo. and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard Gilliland; one brother Charles Thomas Mitchell; six sisters, Violet Pippin, Mae Matthews, Helen Hilton, Lillie Currens, Dorey Mitchell and Inez Canney.

Survivors are one son Herbert Gilliland of Seligman; two daughters, Mary Louise (James) Pippin of Washburn, Linda Lou Shockley (Dean) of Little Flock; one sister Georgia Krebs of Springfield, Mo.; eleven grandchildren, Allen Gilliland, Angela Clark, Ricky Jones, Collette Womack, Melissa Gobble, Dale Pippin, Linda Harris, Sheila Dover, Johnny Shockley, David Shockley and Kenny Pippin; seventeen great-grandchildren; and thirty-eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is set for 2:00p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Eastside Assembly of God Church in Bentonville. Visitation is set for 3-5:00p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
