Gertrude Layher, 89, of Pea Ridge, died May 3, 2020 at her home.

She was born April 22, 1931 in Wein, Austria and later married Jakob Layher August 13, 1955. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed her roses, gardening and reading.

Survivors are her husband of sixty-four years, Jakob Layher of the home; three daughters, Rita Bean (David) of Bella Vista, Sonya Bookout and late husband Glen of Pea Ridge, Lore Layher of Centerton; six grandchildren, Chris Bean (Jennifer), Justin Ford, Jason Bean (Ashley), Lindsey Bobo (Kelsey), Brandon Layher, Kyleigh Robles (Benji) and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
