Helen Diane Krueger, 66, of Garfield, died, April 22 at her home.
She was born May 24, 1951 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Billy Gene Powell and Oma Pauline Sebourn Powell. She moved to the area in 1978 to make her home and later retired from the Pea Ridge Public Schools where she worked in the cafeteria. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, making jewelry, reading and fishing. Helen was a member of Gateway Chapel Church in Gateway, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Krueger; a son-in-law, Mark Elsner; a sister, Sharon Reynolds; a granddaughter, Ashley Marguim and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Avacyn Ramsey.
Survivors are a son, Patrick Krueger of Garfield; four daughters, Anna Elsner of Denver, Co., Dolores Laxton (Robert) of Garfield, Audry Krueger of Denver, Co. and Becky Ramsey (David) of Decatur, Ar.; a daughter-in-law, Naomi Clark of Garfield; a brother, Jessie Powell of Green Forest; three sisters, Jean Davey of Gainsville, Texas, Darlene Bucklin and Angela Kaler of Lonoke, Ark.; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Service is set for 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday before the service at the chapel.
