Hershel Doyle Martin, 85, of Bentonville, died November 19, 2020 at his home.

He was born August 4, 1935 in Lonoke, Arkansas to Elbert Bell Martin and Otrah Bone Martin. He was an Air Force veteran serving stateside during the Korean War. Hershel was owner and operator of Martin Enterprises for twenty years. He was a Razorback fan for all their sports, enjoyed watching western movies and shows, he was crazy about his grandchildren, and loved his faithful Cocker Spaniel "Tommy". He was a Baptist and is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Lisa Martin.

Survivors are his wife Sharon Martin of the home; six sons, Rocky Brown (Gina) of Clarksville, Texas, Marty Cavin (Christi) of Cabot, AR., Michael Cavin (Susan) of Wooster, AR., Shawn Martin of Kansas City, MO., Jefferson McKinney (Terri) of Rogers, AR., Garrett McKinney ( Rachel) of Gravette, AR.; three daughters, Rosemarie Laymon (Scott) of Wooster, AR., Missy Cavin of Benton, AR., Darcy Humphries (Emery) of Hiwasse, AR.; two sisters, Frances Dorman of Rosenberg, Texas, Diane Gerald (Berl) of Edgemont, AR.; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held November 24, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at the VA National Cemetery in Fayetteville. No Visitation.
