Homer Glen Mahurin,81, of Garfield, died May 25, 2018 in Bentonville.
He was born October 22, 1936 in Garfield to Homer Wilson Mahurin and Altha Inez Mills Mahurin. He was a Army Veteran serving as a heavy eqipment operator. He was a carpenter and worked for Brown and Root Construction laying pipe from offshore wells to the mainland. He is preceded in death by his wife Louise Mahurin; his parents; two brothers, Jim and Carol Mahurin; two sisters, Geneva Henderson and Virgie Perkins.
Survivors are his daughter, Glenda; a sister, Fern Musteen of Falls Church, Virginia; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Service is set for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 29 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Mahurin Cemetery in Garfield. Visitation will start at 1:00 P.M. before the service.
