On Friday, January 15, 2021, Howard Henry Meyer, loving husband, father of four children, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away in his home at the age of 91 in Pea Ridge, AR.

Howard was born on April 15, 1929 in Watertown, MN to John and Marie Meyer. He served in the Army Air Force for 4 years from 1948-1952, during the Korean War as a medic driver. He was an avid gardener, farmed for 6 years, and owned a carpet laying business for 26 years in Minnesota before retiring in 1991 and then moved to Arkansas. On September 19, 1953, he married Betty Miller in Dawson, Minnesota. There they raised four children, Nancy, Michael, David and Linda.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harvey and sister, Orla. He is survived by his wife Betty, his four children, Nancy King (Randy), Los Alamos, NM, Michael (Noy) Las Vegas, NV, David (Kathy) Butte, MT and Linda Kalt (Bill) Lafayette, NJ, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and his sister Leona Carlin, Battle Ground, WA as well as several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Howard was a member of First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge and American Legion. He was a strong, proud and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many.

Service is set for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 20 at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday before the service. Burial will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
