Jackie Eugene Tate, 82, of Garfield, Arkansas died April 25, 2024.

He was born April 4, 1942 in Gateway, Arkansas to Clarence Robert Tate and Neva Roberts Tate. He married Dorthie May King March 1, 1971. He worked for Tyson foods for thirteen years, was a truck driver for Willis-Shaw and was a machinist. He loved to fish and hunt, enjoyed watching wrestling and playing games on his tablet. He attended The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge and is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorthie; step-daughter, Edna Rachel Peckham; a daughter and a son.

Survivors are his sons, Steven Tate (Dulcie "Lulu") of Garfield, Arkansas and James and Edward Weiser; step-daughters, Carolyn Leach (Dillon), of Pineville, Jackie Louise Peckham (Gary) of Westville, Oklahoma, step-sons, Virgle Wishon (Debbie) and Donald Wishon (Kadie) of Pea Ridge; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Bayless Cemetery in Garfield, Ar. with Pastor Jo Jones officiating.
