Janice Marie Herron Raymer, 83, went home to be with her Lord on March 27 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born September 18, 1934 at Arickaree, Colorado, to Burnell and Maxine Janice Norman Herron.

She worked 40 years as a caregiver and earned her CNA license at the age of 70 years. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and fought a battle with it coming out a winner with God's grace and a lot of prayers.
She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law Lee and Sylvia Herron, two nephews Lee II and Burnell B. Herron II, and one granddaughter Sarah Renee Mitchell.

Survivors are a sister Ann Schauf of Pea Ridge; one daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Doug Mitchell of Wichita, Kansas; one granddaughter Amy and husband Matt Trudell of Wichita, Kansas, two great granddaughters Riley and Addisyn Trudell of Wichita, Kanas, two loyal and loving friends, Donna Collins and Deb Derozier who served Janice and her sister Ann as caregivers; the Garry Raymer family; several nieces, nephews, her church family who she loved dearly and a host of friends.

A graveside service is set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is set for 12-2:00p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge before the service on Saturday.
