Jerry L. Burton, 78, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023.

He was born March 23, 1945 in Rogers, Arkansas to Robert H. Burton, Sr. and Virginia Beryl Stockton. Jerry was proud of his service with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marines, was very active with VFW Post 8109 in Pea Ridge and helped create the Veterans Memorial in downtown Pea Ridge. He retired from Glad Manufacturing and served the school and city of Pea Ridge in multiple ways. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, May Ann Burton; a son, Jimmy Burton and a brother, Robert H. "Bobby" Burton, Jr.

Survivors are his son Michael Burton and wife Tina of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; a sister, Donna White of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Graveside service with Navy Honors will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Pea Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send a memorial donation to the VFW Post 8109 P.O. Box 764 Pea Ridge AR, 72751.
