Obituary

Jerry Lee Morrison, 86, from Pea Ridge, Arkansas entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on April 9, 2025 at home under the care of Circle of Life Hospice of Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was born August 11, 1938 in Glade, Arkansas to Elzie Lee Morrison and Maureen Pansy Douglas Morrison. He married Beverly Sue Coleman on March 30, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They had two daughters and a son. The Morrison's moved from Oklahoma City to Pea Ridge in 1970. They have been active in the community since that time. Jerry laid his wife, Beverly, to rest in 2011. He then married Hazel Ann Margo, June 14, 2014 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Jerry served in the Navy (Sea Bees) from 1977-1998. He worked as a carpenter all of his life and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, milk cows, ride horses, and garden. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge where he served in many capacities over the years.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Maureen, his step brothers, Bill and Vern Jennings and 2 step sisters, Lola Smith, and Jewell Turney, his first wife, Beverly, his son, Jerry Leon, and a grandson, David Lynn Ragland. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, his sister, Peggy David Schmidt (Loren), of Greenwood, 2 daughters, Sherrie Ragland (David) of Pea Ridge and Iris Roller (Darrell) of Rogers, step children, Lonnie Lynch of Pea Ridge, La Dawnya Faulkner of Fayetteville, 7 Grandchildren, Travis Clark of Rogers, Joseph Ragland of Pea Ridge, Megan Roller of Rogers, Mollie Hendrick (Mark) of Bentonville, Scotty Roller (Summer) of Rogers, Trey Roller (Alisha) of Centerton, Stevie Grace St. John of Rogers; a step-granddaughter, Rosetta Cossey of Pea Ridge and 8 great grandchildren as well as many other loved ones.

Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Funeral service is set for 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 14, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
