Army Veteran Jerry Wayne Vannoy, 70, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, July 3, 2020, at his home.

He was born February 25, 1950 to Junior and Norma Pearl Savoy Vannoy in Corpus Christi, Tx. He was proceeded in death by his parents and by his sisters, Sara Simacek and Deletha Baker

He is survived by his son Jared Vannoy, daughter in-law Angela and granddaughter Nicole of Lowell, his son Michael Vannoy, daughter in-law Jennifer and granddaughters Bailey and Addy-B, grandsons Trevor and Carson of Tennessee, His daughter Lisa Johnston and son in-law Chuck, and grandsons Wesley and Austin of Bella Vista, AR. His first and only love and mother of his three children, Nadine Rockett of Bella Vista, AR. He also survived by two brothers, Larry Vannoy of Springdale, Ar and Gary Vannoy of Texas, two sisters, Joy Mackay and Deborah Deel both of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He lived in the Pea Ridge area for thirteen years and was a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He was a man that was far from perfect but a man that worked hard and loved his country and his family deeply.

The family will be having a private celebration at a later date. In leau of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, a local non profit dedicated to re-engage veterans in living an active, meaningful and productive life with a renewed sense of purpose.
