Alvis Joe Barens, 70, of Garfield, died May 22, 2018 a his home.
He was born October 10, 1947 in Paso Robles, California to Keelan Joe Barens and Velma Ardith Boen Barens. He moved to the area in 1964 from Ozark, Arkansas to make his home and married Donna Parker February 18, 1988. Joe loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife Donna Barens of the home; four daughters; four step-daughters; a brother, Clifton Barens of Pea Ridge, nephews, Cliff Barens Jr. and Chris of Pea Ridge; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. No services are planned.
