Obituary

John Joseph Perkins, 96, of, Rogers, died Dec. 28 at Walnut Grove Nursing and Rehab in Springdale.

He was born March 19, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur Elmer Perkins and Adeline Kozikoski Perkins. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Air Corp. He worked as a carpenter, truck driver and was chairman for Woodruff, Wisconsin for two terms. He loved to hunt and fish and attended Grace Harbor Church and St. Vincent Catholic Church in Rogers. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Egtvedt Perkins in 2002 and his second wife Ora Delle Stoneman Johnson Perkins in 2009; two brothers, Arthur Jr. and Terrance Perkins; three sisters, Geraldine Below, Adeline Pogorzelski and an infant.

Survivors are four daughters, Sharon Brunell (Dave) of Rogers, Linda Sadowski (Todd) of Delafield, Ws., Kathy Burton (Dave) of Arbor Vitae, Ws. and Joan Perkins of Milwaukee, Ws.; a brother, Jim Perkins (Dodie) of Naples, Fl.; a sister, Joan Belliveau of Eagle River, Ws.; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
