Obituary

Linda Pifer McBryde, a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025. Born on August 4, 1949, to Loyd and Evetta Lee Pifer, Linda dedicated her life to the service and love of her family.

In 1969, she married, Edward McBryde, and together they built a life centered on family, devotion, and sacrifice. As a registered nurse, Linda touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. Outside of work, she found joy in crocheting, a craft she perfected with love and patience. Her deep affection for dogs was another reflection of her nurturing spirit.

Above all, Linda's greatest passion was her family. She was a selfless mother and grandmother who devoted her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Edward.

Linda's legacy lives on through her loving children, Robert McBryde of Huntsville, AR, and Evetta Nathwani of Rogers, AR; and her cherished grandchildren, Bobby Jo Eason, Amber Leatherwood, Drew McBryde—whom she lovingly raised—and Logan McBryde; also surviving is her loving brother, Rick Pifer, who could always make her laugh like no other. Her unwavering love, strength, and generosity will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

A drop-in memorial to honor Linda's life will be held at Fellowship Fayetteville on April 5th from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

Linda will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love and sacrifice will forever be imprinted on the hearts of her family and friends.
