With deep sorrow, we announce the loss of Lorean Ester Blagg on February 22, 2025—a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished sister and aunt. Celebrated for her modest, caring soul and steadfast, "tough as nails" resolve, she touched the lives of everyone around her with boundless kindness and a nurturing heart.

Born February 4, 1937 in Bisbee, Arizona, Lorean embraced a life of simplicity and grace. Without pursuing formal education, she discovered her passion for sewing—a craft that not only made her the family's trusted seamstress but also inspired a modest, flourishing business in her community. Each week in Marked Tree, AR, devoted church ladies engaged in a friendly contest, eagerly anticipating Lorean's custom creation for the following Sunday—a tribute to her remarkable talent and the high esteem in which she was held. Her creativity, relentless work ethic, and quiet commitment demonstrated that life's most valuable lessons are learned through everyday acts of care, love, and perseverance.

Lorean's life was defined by her generosity and heartfelt empathy. As a loving wife and a constant source of comfort, she ensured that those close to her were fed and happy. Her passion for nature flourished in her vibrant garden and in the devoted care she lavished on her animals—especially her adored cats. Throughout her journey, her intimate and steadfast relationship with God provided her with strength, wisdom, and compassion. Her path, marked by both determination and tenderness, stands as a testament to a heart that balanced resilience with kindness.

Her life embodied love, modesty, and perseverance. In the spirit of Proverbs 31:25,
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
Lorean's unwavering spirit and gentle fortitude will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Lorean Ester Blagg leaves a legacy of kindness, endurance, and steadfast devotion to her family. Though she has departed from this world, her memory will forever illuminate the hearts of those who cherished her. She is preceded in death by her, parents, Commie Chester Glasscock and Helen Lucille Jackson Glasscock; husband Billy Bruce Blagg; siblings, Claudia Daniels, Buddy Glasscock, Lois Ricks, Ernest Glasscock, Albert Glasscock, Diane Harris and Lonnie Glasscock.

Survivors are her children, Barry Blagg and wife Angela of Rogers, Randy Blagg of Seligman, Patricia Engler and husband Jim of Rogers; siblings, Jim Glasscock of Huntsville, Betty Cowgur of Bentonville, Virginia Truex of Huntsville, David Glasscock of Seligman, Geraldine Butler of Eureka Springs; granddaughter, Heather Hodge; grandson, Barry Blagg (BJ) Jr.; great-granddaughter, Camryn Hodge.

Graveside service is set for 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2025 at Buttram Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge. No Visitation.
