Malcolm Scott, 75, of Pea Ridge died Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Malcolm was born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) to George and Helen Harriett Scott. He was a veteran of the Rhodesian Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tony and sister Helen. His elder sister Brenda and twin sister Moira reside in South Africa. Malcolm was married to Rosemary Scott from March 29, 1969 to December 18, 2020. They have two children, Charmaine Scott (Haleigh Bolton) of Austin, TX and Brandon Scott of Springdale, AR. He leaves behind a daughter-in-law Karla and three grandchildren Carson, Alyssa and Tyler.

Malcolm attended Harding University from 1974-1980 graduating with degrees in Business Administration and Bible. He ministered at Bluff Springs church of Christ 1980-1984 (Hopkinsville, KY), Lincoln church of Christ 1984-1991, Tuttle church of Christ 1992-1993, and Pea Ridge church of Christ 1993-2020. Malcolm was employed with Beall-Ladymon in Fayetteville, AR 1984-1987 and Wal-Mart Distribution Center #6094 until his retirement in 2017. Malcolm committed his life to the service of his Lord without question. His impact has been felt locally, in many parts of the country and abroad. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father who will be missed terribly. His example will continue to provide guidance to those who knew and loved him.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic the memorial service for Malcolm will be private. A public memorial service will be held at a later date when gathering is safe. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.
