Margie Marie Johnson, 89, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas died May 8, 2024.

She was born January 28, 1935 in Rogers, Arkansas to Manuel Clinton Cotton and Hattie Mae McCombs Cotton. She and her husband Alva Lee married April 4, 1953 and operated Pea Ridge Building and Farm Supply for many years, she served as secretary of the Pea Ridge PTA and worked at Wal-Mart before retiring. She was a member of Epsilon Beta and New Salem Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo. She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Darrell David; siblings, Ted Cotton, George Cotton, Charlie J. Cotton, Hazel Bean, Barbara Roberts and Gracie Pace.

Survivors are her husband, of seventy -one years Alva Lee Johnson of the home; children, Larry Johnson of Pea Ridge, Janet David of Pea Ridge, Michelle Nesbitt and husband Daniel of Pea Ridge; a sister Jessie Starnes of Rogers; five grandchildren; Robbie, Michael, Lisa, Hailey and Dalton; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2024 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Perry Morgan officiating
