Marvin Frank Watkins, 65, of Washburn, Missouri, died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home.

He was born to Willie and Hazel Watkins in DeWitt, Arkansas. Marvin served tours of duty with the United States Marines and the United States Army where he was able to travel the world. He loved spending time with his family and visiting with brethren of his church. During his time in the military he served in an Honor Guard for President Ronald Reagan's Inauguration, as a Military Escort for the Miss America Pageant, and in the United States Army Special Forces. His proudest accomplishment was his baptism into The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in DeWitt, Arkansas by Brother Alvin Watkins. He and Brother Alvin traveled many places for church and saw many of God's blessings. To hear his testimony of God's work in his life was a blessing for all to hear. He is proceeded in death by his parents, brother, Jimmy Watkins, sisters Linda Mannis, Williene Wright, and Dewanna Sue Watkins.

Survivors include his companion, Kristy Twyford, daughters Sofia and Maggie Watkins of the home. Sons Christopher Watkins, Jordan, Jacob, and Dylan McClellan, granddaughters Brielle and Millie, sister Janette Kumming (Mark) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, brothers William Watkins (Diane) of Wichita, Kansas, and Tommy Watkins of Exeter, Missouri, as well as a host of family and friends whom he loved very much.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial with military honors will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
