Mary Jo Henderson, 98, of Pea Ridge died Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

She was the fourth child born May 21, 1926 in Pea Ridge, AR to Charlie and Dovie Crabtree. She lived in Pea Ridge, AR from birth through graduation from Pea Ridge High School. After graduation, she moved to California where she met her first husband Leo Henry Henslick. Leo was a U.S. Marine who was sent back overseas shortly after they married where he was killed in action in Iwo Jima on March 12, 1945. Mary Jo relocated back to her hometown of Pea Ridge in 1946 where she went shopping in Rogers and reconnected with previous classmate, H.G. Henderson. They "went together" for several years before marrying on June 26th, 1955 in Oxford, KS. H.G. and Mary Jo enjoyed sixty three years of marriage. She worked various jobs in the airline industry throughout her working years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, thrift store shopping, garage sales, and being with her family. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Dovie Crabtree, sisters Edna, Nadine, and Emma Lou, and brother Charles.

Survivors are her son and his wife, David and Jerri Henderson of Tulsa, OK; grandson and his wife Gary and Sara Henderson of Owasso, OK; great grandchildren Emma and Tyler Henderson of Owasso, OK; sister in law Alice Crabtree of Pea Ridge, AR.

Funeral is set for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Visitation is set for 6-8:00p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
