Nancy Muriel Powers, 84, of Pea Ridge, died July 3, 2018 at Legacy Hospice in Bentonville.
She was born June 15, 1934 in Dearborn, Michigan to Sherman Smith Fassett and Cora Louise Ingalls Fassett. She retired from Southwestern Bell in Rogers after more than fifty years of service and was a member of the Hills of the Ozarks Automobile Club. She loved to crochet, make stained glass, gardening and canning. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond McClain; second husband, Kenneth Powers; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Ken (Sandra) Fassett , Betty (Paul) Mishler , Laveta (Larry) Anderson , Gordie Fassett, Irene Dennett, Kathleen Fassett, Sharon Fassett and a grandson, Noah McClain.
Survivors are a son, Michael McClain and wife Jeannie of Powell, Missouri; Melanie McClain of Pea Ridge; four brothers; Richard (Mary Ann) Fassett of Beaverton,MI., Sherman ( Joanne) Fassett of Beaverton, MI., Robert (Marian) Fassett of Beaverton, MI., David (Karen) Fassett of Gladwin, MI.; two sisters, Janice (Lenard) Govitz of Beverton, MI., Mary Lou (Del) Voller of Beaverton, MI.; brother and sister-in-laws, Duaine Dennett of Arizona and Gail Fassett of Midland, MI.; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for 10:00 A.M. Friday July 6 at Twelve Corners Cemetery in Garfield. No Visitation.
