Patty Gail Stertz, 73, passed away surrounded by loved ones, May 9, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born July 16, 1950 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Frankie Anderson Smith and Bertha Holt Smith. She was a Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office for five years and also worked for Arvest Bank in Rogers. She loved animals, working on a dairy farm and at one time took care of Negal Hall's cattle in Pea Ridge. Patty had a green thumb, loved to make cakes, and sewing Halloween costumes for her kids and grandkids. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge and is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Thelma Hall and Doyle Smith.

Survivors are her children, Michael Stertz (Teresa) of Owasso, Oklahoma; Katherine Stertz of Lowell, Arkansas, Jaclyn Stertz of Bella Vista; a sister, Darlene Smith of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Raymond, Juliana and Kyrie.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
