Ralph Albert Squires, 92, of Bella Vista, died Sunday, January 8 at Highlands Rehab in Bella Vista.

He was born August 8, 1924 in Olympia, Washington to Charles Christian Squires and Helen Bruce McCay Squires. He was a WW11 US Army Veteran serving as a medical technician. He married Virginia Lee Jackson on October 22, 1948. Ralph retired from Kraft Foods in Bentonville after thirty-seven years and was active in the local American Legion. He was caretaker for Dug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Bentonville. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Henry Squires.

Survivors are his wife of 68 years, Virginia Squires; two daughters, Helen Hurst and husband Larry of Pea Ridge, Sally Vaughn of Springdale; a brother, Nathan Squires of Washington State; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Service is set for 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 13 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. before the service. Burial will be in Dug Hill Cemetery.
