Ray Lester Epps, 79, of Rogers, died April 8 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
He was born December 16, 1938 in Rogers to Lenza Orbin Epps and Elvenia V. Weiser Epps. He was a retired chief petty officer for the US Navy serving in Norfolk, Virginia. He worked as a machinist for CTS in Rogers and married Glenna Faye Patterson July 3, 1981. Ray loved to work on the farm, deer hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Jean Ann Epps.
Survivors are his wife Glenna Epps of the home; two sons, Mike Epps (Marylou) of Jacksonville, Florida, Stan Epps of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two daughters, Nancy Rouse (Andy) of Milledgeville, Georgia, Carol Sykes (Steve) of Odom, Georgia; a brother, Clyde Epps of Rogers; fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12 at Roller Cemetery in Missouri. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
