Raymond "Alex" Alexander Hern, 32, of Garfield, Ark. died August 26, 2024 at his home.

He was born October 17, 1991 in Russellville, Arkansas to Jimmy Dean Hern and Norma Marie Atkins Hern. He was a 2009 graduate of Pea Ridge High School. Alex enjoyed making whips, wood working, leather working and metal working. He loved to shoot guns, smallmouth fishing in the river and above all loved his boys and family very much. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Velma Hern; maternal grandfather, Ray Atkins; maternal grandmother, Sandy Atkins; two aunts and two cousins.

Survivors are his wife Candice (Ehrman) Hern; children, Rayden, Kayden and Hank Hern; parents, Jimmy and Norma Hern; siblings, Preston Hern, Latrisha Dority (Bradley), Jason Hern, William Hern (Brandi); maternal step-grandmother, Charlotte Atkins and many extended family and friends.

Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Graveside service is set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
