Obituary

Rickey Lynn Bowen, 58, of Garfield, Arkansas died February 9, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

He was born April 19, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona to Charles Richard Bowen and Jemmie Lucille Spencer Bowen. He married Jennifer Diana Patterson June 29, 1985 and worked for S & K Dirtwork in Avoca. He loved his 1965 Nova SS (his first car), dragracing and going on motorcycle trips. He loved to hunt when he was younger but later in life he just enjoyed watching the wildlife he used to hunt. Rick loved his family, especially his granddaughter which was his pride and joy. He never met a stranger and had the strongest faith even with all his health challenges. Rick was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garfield.

Survivors are his wife Jennifer of the home; his parents, Charles and Jemmie Bowen of Highfill, Arkansas; a daughter, April Hayes and husband Brian of Mena, Arkansas; siblings, Donnie Bowen (Brenda) of Avoca, Arkansas, Debbie Trammell (Donald) of Garfield, Mike Bowen (Darlene) of Highfill, Vickie Bowen (Jon Magee) of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Layla Hayes and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Service is set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13 at First Baptist Church in Garfield. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Twelve Corners Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
