Rickie DeWayne Evans, 66, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away surrounded by his loved ones January 26, 2024

He was born January 14, 1958 in Fredonia, Kansas to John Henry Evans and Reba Merlene Dorris Evans. He married Teresa Mayhew in 1978, together they had three children, Desiree Maike, Shaneal Evans and Casey Evans and later remarried in 1989 to Susan Gale McCombs.

Rick was a wild child according to his siblings and full of life. He was a hard worker and provider. Rick was the kind of man who would give someone the shirt off his own back if needed and it's been known to happen more than once. Rick was a friend to everyone he met and he will truly be missed.

Survivors are his wife Susan Evans; three children, Desiree Maike, Shaneal Evans and Casey Evans; brothers, Raymond Evans, Donald Evans and Kenny Evans; sisters, Sarah Everett and Mary Maine; sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
