Robert Lee Hamilton, 88, of Garfield, died Thursday, October 18, at his home.
He was born December 13, 1929 at Wynn, Arkansas, to Charles M. and Martha Hamilton. He retired from the US Marines as a Gunnery Sergeant serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Korea and Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy Hamilton; four brothers; and three sisters. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are a daughter Kathrine LeAnn Hamilton of Garfield; one brother Gilford Hamilton of Ferriday, Louisiana; one sister Nita Hamilton of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and many friends.
