Shannon Louise Rininger, 57, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, January 19, 2026 at her home. She was born in Winslow, Arizona on July 25, 1968 to Phil Earnest Nichols and Phyllis Kay Rittenberry Nichols.

Shannon married the love of her life, Douglas Allen Rininger on February 9, 1995.

Shannon found great joy in being a homemaker. Her family was her whole world and she dearly enjoyed quilting for them. Shannon could be found in her free time sewing, fishing and helping others anytime she could. She had a great love of animals, the great outdoors, camping and was an avid dancer.

Shannon is preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Kay Nichols; a sister, Sheila Earl; and a nephew, Kyle Custer.

Shannon is survived by her husband, Douglas Allen Rininger of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two sons, James Dean Hendrix of Bentonville, Arkansas, Justin David Hendrix of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two step-children, Amanda (Austin) McLennan of Rogers, Arkansas, Chad Rininger of Bentonville, Arkansas; her father, Phil Nichols of Hallsville, Texas; seven brothers; two sisters; and a host of extended family members and friends.
