Jane's life was marked by a tireless dedication to her career and community. She graduated from Allewe High School in 1963 and pursued a noble path in nursing, earning her LPN certificate at Tri-County Tech and later a degree in Registered Nursing from Parsons Community College. Her career was a testament to her unwavering work ethic and passion for healthcare. Starting as a nurse aide, she rose through the ranks to become an executive VP and President of Rose Care, where she worked for over 30 years.

Her commitment to service extended beyond her professional life. Jane was a vibrant member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, where she played a pivotal role in numerous programs, including the Outreach Food Bank and Backpack for Kids program. These programs provided nourishment to over 14,500 children, a legacy of care that will continue to ripple through the community. She was also actively involved with RVing Women, serving on the National Board and contributing significantly to her Mid America Chapter.

Jane's personal life was filled with joy and passion. A sports enthusiast, she cherished attending games and performances, especially when her family was involved. She found solace and joy in playing the piano, growing her beloved tomatoes, and embarking on road trips with her grandchildren, Riley and Darby. Her unwavering support and dedication in helping raise and guide her grandchildren were among her greatest joys.

To those who knew her, Jane was a dynamic force, characterized by her determination and unwavering support for those she loved. She was a true friend, a dependable ear, and a steadfast pillar of strength. Her vibrant personality and generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
